Corkwood Restaurant has been serving the people of Woodland since the 1960's.
Momentarily, Charlie thought about retiring after a hurdle shut down this historic restuarant in June of 2014. He acknowledged how much love and support the community had given him through the last 30 years. Re-opening Corkwood was the obvious choice. After relocating, Corkwood has returned better than ever!
Charlie has been a part of the Corkwood family since he started as a cook in the 1970's under past owner, Buck Fong. After learning and perfecting the home-made recipes, Charlie purchased the business in 1981. Since then, he has committed his time and love to providing customers quality food and service. If it's not the daily soup made from scratch that keeps you coming back, it will be the charm of Charlie and his staff that will win you over.
